摘要 Process for sepn. of powder, dust and aerosols from gaseous streams, partic. for existing heaters and/or air cleaning installations such as for industrial units, which discharge to atmos. via an exhaust gas facility, where simultaneously toxic pollutants are removed by ad- and/or absorption, and being novel in that gaseous process flow causes a demand signal for wash liquor, the wash liquor providing a working and safety medium, at the same time surface activated powder such as calcium hydroxide / activated carbon is dry dosed, the adequately sized process stream flow area and enclosing surfaces being pre-contacted with wash liquor, so that process stream and wash liquor interfaces inter-mix, the pre-contacted process stream in laminar flow forced through a slit gap, one or more stable reduced pressure pure gas tangential impact separators, is moistened and reverse flows into a gas-tight phase separation chamber, pollutant separates, in the backflow of the pure gas separator suspended solids and aerosol particles are processed by means of flow-mechanical tangentially deflecting process stream concentrating mass concentration, a pure gas stream is formed by an aerofoil in the form of a concentric demister and/or filter of the pure gas separator, remaining suspended solids and aerosol particles are accelerated on contact with the demister and/or filter surface in the direction of the process stream concentrator, pure gas flows radially through the demister and/or filter, trimming the velocity to less than 0.4 m/s, and propelled by a two-blade fan with rotation axis parallel to the flow, the pure gas is discharged either via an outlet duct or direct to atmosphere, and the spent wash liquor is discharged to a frost-protected location. USE/ADVANTAGE - Scrubbing station for industrial and air-conditioning gas flows useful for removal of SOx, NOx and other pollutants, which is compact and energy efficient, and reduces stack height required for discharge to atmosphere.
