摘要

PURPOSE:To display excellent defect resistance and wear resistance even in cutting under a severe condition, by improving the strength of a cutting tip made of a cubic boron nitride group extra high pressure sintered material. CONSTITUTION:The crystal grain size of c-BN as for the dispersed phase forming component of a crystal boron nitride group extra high pressure sintered material composing a cutting tip, and the crystal grain size of the combined phase consisting of TiC, TiN, and >= one kind of TiCN and A12O3 are taken in <=1mum actually.
