Fire retardant concentrate for thermoplastics - contains polyamide or polyurethane, adduct of melamine cyanarate and hydrophilic silicic acid, and flow improver etc.
摘要
A flame proofing concentrate for thermoplastic resins comprises (a) 15-60 wt.% of a polyamide or polyurethane; (b) 40-85 wt.% of an adduct made by dry mixing melamine cyanurate and hydrophilic silicic acid in an amt. ratio of 8:1 to 20:1 with up to 5 wt.% hydrophilic silicic acid, and (c) up to 10 wt.% fluidity aid and processing aid. USE/ADVANTAGE - The flame proofing concentrate can be added to resins esp. polyamides and polyurethanes with improved dispersion of the melamine flame proofing agent and improved flame proofing propertiesnt
