The racquet-frame tightener contains a holder (1) with a pivot-mounted support (20). Attachments (12) on the support (20) for the frame (2) have adjustable attachments in the frame (2) lengthwise direction and gripping the head (3) and middle piece (4). At least one pair of tension-plates (28) are self-adjustable in height and touch the side of the frame (2). At least one collet (36) moves on a pre-set track. The attachments (12) have fixtures each of which has a clamp (17) clamping the frame (2) on a support surface (14). Each attachment has a stop-piece (13) with a surface (15) matching the frame (2) shape and from which a threaded pin (16) sticks out. USE/ADVANTAGE - The racquet strings are tightened and the frame held so that it is not damaged.
