Piston slide valve for pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders - has arrangement of control edges to avoid need for seals

The piston slide valve has the gap between the control edges (11, 13) smaller than the gap between the edges of the inlet and outlet holes (2, 3). In each working position of the valve the inlet and outlet holes are covered by opposite surfaces of the double piston (5), and a gap (h) without a seal is provided between the inner wall of the cylinder (1) and the double piston. USE/ADVANTAGE - Valve of simple design with no seals which can be used in many pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
