The fan motor (1) is thermally decoupled by a carrying plate (4) arranged on a dish (6) connected to the baking oven wall (10), the carrying plate (4) being directly fixed at the baking oven wall. A passage opening (7), corresp. to the motor shaft (8) forms, with the fan impeller (9), the dish (6) connected with the baking oven wall (10) and the carrying plate (4), a microwave-proof blocking filter unit. The dish (6), which is welded on the baking oven wall (10), is designed as a microwave trap. ADVANTAGE - Fan motor is fixed outside cooking compartment with simplest possible means, and construction required for microwave heating is microwave proof.
