摘要 The vaporising chamber flow (11) in the flow direction behind the by-pass valve (2) opens out at a mixing place (12) in the by-pass flow (4). The vapourising chamber (5) is acted upon with the vapouriser chamber pressure (P) by a backing valve (13) positioned downstream of the mixing place. The backing valve (13) is designed as an admission pressure regulator. A control unit (14), for pressure and temp. control, is connected to a first temp. sensor (15) and a first pressure sensor in the vaporiser chamber (5) and a second pressure sensor (17) in the by-pass flow (4). Desired values for the anaesthetic concn. adjustment are supplied to the control unit, and a non-return valve (19) is provided at the gas inlet (1) to prevent a pressure drop in the vapouriser chamber. Two blocking valves (18, 18a) are first closed and, by means of the control unit, the vapour pressure (PD) is measured with the sensor (16) and the vapouriser chamber temp. (T) is measured with the temp. sensor (15). ADVANTAGE - Can use anaesthetic having low boiling point.
