A device for measuring gas pressure inside cartridges has an essentially cylindrical housing (10) mounted on a base plate (13) and provided with a stepped bore (12a, 12b) in the axial direction that tapers in the direction of the shot and into which a correspondingly outwardly stepped measurement barrel (11) that receives the cartridge (15, 16) can be adapted. An enlarged bore with an inner thread (25a) is provided in the rear region of the housing (10), and a threaded closure body (25b) can be screwed therein. A striking pin that is axially movable in the direction of the shot is arranged inside the closure body (25b). Furthermore, a clamping device (23, 23a) engages a headpiece (26) by its rear part and when it is activated, it first pulls the headpiece partially out, then liberates it, by continuing to move, thus triggering the striking pin. An upsetting body arranged in a radial bore (30) of the measurement barrel (11) can be upset by a measurement piston (19) moved by the gas pressure during the shot. The advantage of the invention is its simple design, made up of few rotary pieces, so that its cost effective production is possible. |
