Photographic preparation of print masters - with reciprocating sliding suction frames to move originals through exposure position

The originals are supplied in a magazine (4) from which they are taken singly by the suction frames (8) and moved to the exposure position. After exposure the frames move further to transfer the originals into a receiving magazine. Two suction frames are provided so that a rapid throughput can be achieved. The original feed can be in two planes (12,13) for a more rapid throughput. The suction frames are moved vertically to pick up and drop the originals. The print master (2) is positioned on an x-y table (1) and the exposure is via a fixed illuminator (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Rapid throughput, automatic handling of originals.
