PURPOSE:To reduce a curl code which connects an adaptor with a portable radio telephone set, and to prevent unavailable currents from running from a power source such as an on-vehicle battery which feeds a power to the adaptor. CONSTITUTION:A radio telephony equipment is constituted of an adaptor 1, and a portable radio telephone set 200 and a battery pack 100 which are connected through a contact type connector 300 with the adaptor 1 in order to be freely attached and detached. And also, the battery pack 100 is connected through a connector 400 with the radio telephone set 200 in order to be freely attached and detached. Then, when the radio telephone set 200 is connected through the connector 400, and the telephone set 200 is not in a speech state, only the first power source circuit which is sufficient for the charge of a battery to be charged of the radio telephone set 200, is turned on. Then, when the telephone set 200 is in the speech state, both the first power source circuit and the second power source circuit which is sufficient for the speech operation of the radio telephone set 200, are turned on.
