PURPOSE:To obtain excellent finishing of defrosting even when the weight, kind and thickness of food is changed and retain freshness in a circumstance suitable for the preservation of the food such s fish meat and the like even when the food is left as it is after defrosting, in a refrigerator equipped with a defrosting chamber defrosting frozen food. CONSTITUTION:Heating is controlled in three stages and a first stage time (t1) is defined by a time when a temperature, detected by a temperature sensor, has arrived at a predetermined temperature while a second stage time (t2) is constituted of the first stage time X a second stage time magnifying power (a) and the second stage time magnifying power (a) is determined through a fuzzy reasoning means 544 based on the condition of the signal of the setting switch 43 of length and thickness of the first stage time (t1). |
