Photographic preparation of print masters - with originals in frames stacked in magazines with alignment aids

The print master (3) is held on an x-y table (2) and illuminated with various originals moved into the exposure path by a reciprocating suction frame (8) with vertical movement to pick up and drop the originals. Each original is held in a frame and stacked onto a tower magazine (14). One or more originals can be picked out of the tower as required. The original frames have alignment markings for correct alignment and for locating in the tower. A programmed control selects the combination of originals. Exposed originals can be dropped into a similar magazine stack on the other side of the reciprocating feed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple and compact photographic processing equipment.
