The rain overflow arrangement has a measurement system (4) for the quantity of overflow water. The measurement system contains a number of measurement devices (5, 6) with different measurement ranges and connected in series and/or in parallel with each other. An evaluation device derives the sum of the individual measurement results or the measurement result of one of the measurement devices depending on the quantity of water flowing in and/or the type of measurement. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. rain water reservoirs in mixed water systems. Overflow quantity is measured very accurately despite very wide flow spectrum.
