The digital line interface unit is for improving signaling accuracy between main CPU and digital line interface (DLI). The unit includes a channel assigning unit (23) for assigning channel for sending signal to a main CPU and for communicating with a digital phone, digital line tranceiver (16) for signalling, sending data and audio signal to a digital phone, an auto equalizing circuit (17) for generating alternative mark inversion signal, a DLI CPU (12) for controlling DLI, a memory (19) for storing control program, address, signals, and data concern to DLI, a data buffer (15) for storing data communicated between the DLI CPU and the memory temporarily, and a reset controller (13) for resetting the DLI CPU and the system controller (13) when consecutive data error occurs.
