摘要 Installation for heat treatment of hollow cylindrical metal bodies consists of a heating device on a carrier structure which can be assembled and fixed into the inner space of such bodies. The carrier structure consists of a central inner ring, a number of bracing bars and ring segments provided with elastic insulating elements. The ring segments have bores for accommodating insulated rods mounted onto a clamping ring and carrying heating coils and elastic insulation. The individual ring segments with the central inner ring and the bracing bars are brought into the drum and assembled (together with the elastic insulating elements) into the clamping structure in the drum region to be annealed. The insulated rods are inserted into the bores. The heating coils are placed onto these rods, and the insulation is placed between the coils and the drum wall. Finally the rods are installed into the clamping ring. Dismantling of the installation takes place in reversed order of the steps described above. USE/ADVANTAGE - The invention can be used, in partic., for annealing of hollow cylindrical bodies of welded construction. The main advantage of the installation over hitherto known equipment is that it can be simply assembled and dismantled in relatively small spaces, and that it can be adjusted to various drum inner dias.
