A heating system for buildings comprises a tank (1), a heating boiler (8) with burner (6) and heating elements (radiators). Taking the viscosity of the oil into account, the burner (6) is operated discontinuously. The interruption intervals constitute the trigger for cooling effects. The present invention shortens the length of the intervals in that the oil is heated to a temperature up to the flash point of the same and in that the opening width of the nozzle (7) of the burner (6) is reduced to a width which is adapted to the viscosity of the heated oil. <IMAGE> |
