PURPOSE:To hold the thermal deformation of an exhaust manifold as well as to improve its endurance reliability by decreasing the extent of heat received from exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:A communicating passage 61, which communicates one side collecting part 3a of an exhaust manifold 3 for collecting exhaust gas exhausted out of a cylinder group on one side with the other side collecting part 3b of the exhaust manifold 3 for collecting the exhaust gas discharged from a cylinder group on the other, is installed in a cylinder head 60 of an engine. |
