摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To perform exact tracking of thickness deviation even when acceleration-deceleration is executed in a FF AGC with which timed sampling is done. CONSTITUTION:From the present speed (v) on the inlet side that is detected with a deflector roll on the inlet side, measured value t3 of continuing time of rolling acceleration-deceleration or measured value t4 of continuing time of retentive speed, to what state the present acceleration-deceleration state or completed state of acceleration-deceleration corresponds is decided. Using a calculation formula in accordance with that state, exact time until a sheet which is passed through a thickness gage on the inlet side is reached to the mill is calculated and tracking register extracting address for extracting thickness deviation data for starting the screw-down of mill from thickness deviation tracking register that response delay of screw-down system is allowed is decided on the basis of the address of read register of thickness deviation on the inlet side and screw-down of mill is made so as to start by that thickness deviation data.</p>
