摘要 |
PURPOSE:To provide a high-purity positive electrode active material and obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte battery with an excellent discharge characteristic by improve the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION:A composite oxide expressed by the general formula LiMO2 (M is a transition metal element) is mixed with an aqueous solution of a nitrate expressed by the general formula M(NO3)2 and an aqueous solution of lithium hydroxide at the M/lithium mole ratio 1:1 in advance, then it is dried and baked at 500-1000 deg.C. A positive electrode active material thus manufactured has high purity, and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery using it has an excellent discharge characteristic. |
