PURPOSE:To obtain a zinc-halogen battery arranged with constituting elements of the battery so that the whole battery is compactly integrated. CONSTITUTION:A reaction chamber 10 performing an electrode reaction and a positive electrode side electrolyte tank 14a storing a positive electrode side electrolyte are arranged face to face, and a pipe 17b and a negative electrode side electrolyte tank 14b are arranged below them. According to this layout, when the operation of a battery is stopped, the positive electrode side electrolyte is left in the reaction chamber 10, only the negative electrode side electrolyte is recovered from the reaction chamber 10, and the whole battery can compactly be integrated. |
