<p>A method of processing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The material comprises a support and provided thereon, a silver halide emulsion layer containing silver halide grains having an average silver chloride content of not less than 80 mol%. The method comprises the step of imagewise exposing the material, and developing the exposed material with a color developing solution, wherein the color developing solution contains 4 x 10<-><2> to 3.0 x 10<-><1> mol per liter of chloride, 1.0 x 10<-><2> to 2.0 x 10<-><2> mol per liter of a color developing agent, and 5.0 to 100 g per liter of a compound represented by the following Formula 1, Formula 1 R-SO3X wherein R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 of carbon atoms or a phenyl group, provided that R may be a polymer having a repetition unit in which an ethylenically unsaturated bond is open, and X represents a hydrogen atom, a sodium atom, potassium atom, a lithium atom or an ammonium group.</p> |
