PURPOSE:To smoothly open a cover, etc., of a console box with simple operation of a hinge with which a device is made to open in both right and left ways and to lock the cover in a state of closing with push-down operation thereof. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 3 is provided to the opposite side of a mounting body 1, and the shaft 3 is held by an opening and shutting member 2 of a cover, etc., to provide a locking and unlocking equipment 4 as a hinge. The shaft 3 is capable of holding through elasticity of a returning spring 5 by a turnable operating holding of the locking and unlocking equipment 4 and an inverted holding arm 4b. The inverted holding arm 4b is made to inverted by operation of the operating holding arm 4a, and the shaft 3 can be separated from both holding arms 4a and 4b. Opening and shutting motion of the opening and shutting member 2 is made with the shaft 3 of the holding mentioned above as the center, the closing is such that principal and subordinate inclinations 4k and 4 of an inlet recess 6 are pushed against the shaft 3 to open and move both holding arms 4a and 4b against the elasticity of the returning spring 5, and the shaft 3 can be held. |
