<p>Irregular shaped waste material from a tyre production line comprises rubber containing steel wires. The material is cut into smaller blocks which are then crushed until they form blankets. The thickness of the rubber and steel wire blankets is standardised, and then a plurality of blankets are joined to make a single piece of material of homogeneous thickness. The single piece is cut to form one or more processed slabs which are ready to be used as raw material for other processing lines where rubber articles are to be manufactured e.g. pallets, mats, flooring, treads. <IMAGE></p> |
