PURPOSE:To regulate the large deflection of an objective lens by providing a card-shaped regulating member near the movable range of the objective lens while an optical card device is not used. CONSTITUTION:A stopper card 17 is used while the device is not used. The stopper card 17 is mounted as shown in Fig. in a shuttle in place of the optical card at this time. The stopper card 17 has nearly the same shape as the shape of the optical card and is formed thickly in the part facing an objective lens 21 of an optical head 20 in the direction facing the objective lens 21 when the stopper card is mounted in the shuttle locked in the card insertion position in the device. The surface part having the possibility that the objective lens 21 comes into contact is formed of a material softer than the materials of the objective lens 21 and lens frame.
