PURPOSE:To improve durability and maintenance serviceability by providing a window stile capable of opening and closing against a window frame, movably arranging a movable body around the window stile and connecting to a fixing mechanism, and internally mounting a drive device connected with the movable body in the window stile so as to move the movable body following to a fixing or a fixing releasing command. CONSTITUTION:A window 1 is constituted out of a window frame 6, a window stile 11, a glass door 12, and a sash lift 13. Further in the window 1, a drive device 14 internally mounted in an under frame 10, a hinge mechanism 15 for opening in between the window frame 6 and the window stile 11, a hinge mechanism 16 for inclining in, a hinge mechanism 17 used both as inclining in and opening in, a locking mechanism 18 for fixing the window stile 11 to the window frame 6, and an inclining-in opening/closing mechanism 19 are provided. A steel belt-shaped body 20 is movably arranged around the window stile 11. At operating the drive device 14, the belt-shaped body 20 is moved, the locking mechanism 18 arranged between the window frame 6 and the window stile 11 is operated to fix the window stile 11 against the window frame 6 or release the fixing. |
