PURPOSE:To improve defects of conventional aluminum titanate. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum titanate is blended with zirconium oxide stabilized with titanium oxide and magnesium oxide to give an aluminum titanate material for engines, having high strength and low thermal expansion and parts using the material. By this method, aluminum titanate having high strength and low thermal expansion can be obtained. |
