<p>The invention relates to a container (1) for culture material suitable for containing one plant, which container is provided with vertically extending side walls (2,3,4,5). The mechanical handling of the containers is hereby improved. Furthermore, they do not tip over when pushed against each other, which is often the case with the usually conical containers of the prior art. In preference the container has a rectangular cross section; this increases manageability, while a complete measure of filling can also be obtained. Square containers moreover provide rotational symmetry. The invention also relates to carriers (9) suitable for these containers, which carriers are provided with a removable plate (10) so that the containers can easily be pushed off the carrier. <IMAGE></p> |
