Gearbox synchroniser comprising on the one hand a hub (1) fixed to a rotary shaft of the box, and, on the other hand, a sliding gear (2) guided in axial sliding on the hub (1) by the outer teeth (8, 8') of the latter, and equipped itself with coupling teeth (3, 3') whose tooth chamfers, axially off-set with respect to one another, encounter the teeth (6) of a synchronisation ring (7) before engaging with the complementary teeth (4) of a gear pinion (5) when the driver engages a gear, characterised in that the outer guiding teeth of the hub have teeth (8, 8') of different lengths. <IMAGE>
