PURPOSE:To sustain operation of an electric appliance easily even upon unlighting of room light due to power interruption. CONSTITUTION:In an uninterruptible power supply in which a built-in battery is normally charged with commercial power and power is fed from the battery to a previously connected electric appliance upon power interruption, illumination lights 7, 8 are provided on the outside of the body casing and means for lighting the lights 7, 8 with power from the battery at the time of power interruption and unlighting the lights upon power recovery is also provided. According to the constitution, the user is locally illuminated at the time of power interruption and the electric appliance can be operated continuously. |
