PURPOSE:To obtain a picture data without varying an interleaved quantity or a timing of reading a data by sending the picture data to a host computer not through a memory device. CONSTITUTION:The reader is provided with a scanning means, an interleave means and a transmission means. Then the scanning means scans an original at a scanning speed in response to the picture data transmission speed to a printer and the picture data obtained by scanning with the scanning means is interleaved by the interleave means and the picture data interleaved by the interleave means is sent to a host computer 100 by the transmission means. That is, the picture data is sent to the host computer 100 via a line buffer 22. Thus, the picture reader not using a memory to sent the picture data to the host computer 100 is realized. |
