PURPOSE:To improve the processability and alkali resistance of a phenolic resin paint composition while keeping the chemical resistance and solvent resistance of the composition. CONSTITUTION:The resin component constituting the objective phenolic resin paint composition is produced by compounding 50-80wt.% of a resol-type phenolic resin composition with 20-50wt.% of a mixture of an epoxy resin and a phenoxy resin at a weight ratio (phenoxy resin/epoxy resin) of 0.25-4. A polymer alloy is formed to get a flexible material when the composition is applied and cured and, at the same time, the solvent resistance, etc., of the composition can be maintained at a high level by a three-dimensionally crosslinked structure. |
