PURPOSE:To obtain a formed product for culturing cells having excellent affinity for the cells, hydrophilicity and embrittlement resistance. CONSTITUTION:The subject formed product for culturing cells is obtained by forming a polymer layer containing one or more polymerizable monomers selected from alkoxyalkyl acrylates as a constituent ingredient in at least part of the material surface. The objective formed product for culturing the cells suitable for culturing adhesion-dependent cells in a large amount at a high density is obtained.
