PURPOSE:To reduce the prime cost of constituent components since the packaging accuracy of the constituent components is relaxed to improve the yield and the machining accuracy is also relaxed. CONSTITUTION:A lens 2 has one convex surface contacting the optical fiber of an optical connector which is coupled and also has an AR coat 5 as a reflection preventive film on the other surface. A photodetecting element 3 has an AR coat 5 on a surface where the light from the lens 2 is made incident. A receptacle 1 is fixed in a cylinder so as to provide airtight sealing between a step 4 where the photodetecting element is mounted and the lens 2. |
