PURPOSE:To obtain a digital protective relay device having an excellent frequency characteristic by sampling the input signal of a power system and calculating the sum of squares by effectively combining sampled values. CONSTITUTION:A protective relay which protects a power system by detecting abnormal values in the input of the power system samples the input of the system at regular intervals and protects the power system by calculating the sum of the squares of the current data, of the data of six samples before, and of the data of three samples before. |
