The invention relates to a pressure joint for reinforcing a T-shaped branch pipe 1 consisting of a first pipe 2 forming the stem in the T and a second pipe 3 forming the transverse part. The pressure joint comprises a sleeve 5 divided into at least two parts 7 along axial incisions 6. The sleeve 5 is fixed around the first pipe 2 by means of a winding of band or wire made of memory metal. The sleeve 5 is, around its periphery, provided with a number of fastening arrangements 9. From the fastening arrangements 9 on one side of the sleeve 5, lines or flexible bars 10 are tensioned over said second pipe 3 to corresponding fastening arrangements 9 on the other side of the sleeve 5. <IMAGE> |
