PURPOSE:To surely perform the initial excitation by conducting the initial excitation for a generator when a normal speed is sensed by a tacho-generator or a pressure oil relay. CONSTITUTION:When a diesel engine 1 starts by a diesel engine starting device 7 to arrive the speed of the diesel engine at a low speed, a low speed contact 14 is opened to release the diesel engine starting device 7. A normal speed contact 13 is closed when the speed of the diesel engine arrives at a normal speed. A pressure oil relay contact 16 is also closed around the speed closing the contact 13. An auxiliary relay coil 8 is excited by closing the contact 13 or the contact 16 to supply the initial excitation to a self-excited AC generator. A diesel engine stopping device 15 also works when a time limit relay contact 9A is closed after a fixed time limit and a pressure oil decreasing relay contact 10 or a water breaking relay contact 11 is closed. |
