PURPOSE: To provide a cartridge which is inexpensive, easy in manufacture, and capable of being used for the cartridge for preparing espresso coffee. CONSTITUTION: A sealed cartridge 1 is designed so as to extract under the pressure, and contains the substances for preparing the beverage 5, and comprises a cup 2 provided with an approximately truncated-conical side wall, an upper surface which is larger in diameter than a lower surface 7, and a filter 4 on the lower surface 7, the lower surface is separated from the filter, and flat and of uniform thickness, and a flange 6 provided with an annular rim to which a lid 3 is welded is included in the upper surface. |
