PURPOSE:To provide a motor-driven cooking device for cooking by cutting meat, vegetables, etc., in a short time and having excellent characteristics in preventing burning of a motor and continuing smooth cutting by forcibly stopping rotation of the motor by engaging a material with a cutting blade. CONSTITUTION:A DC motor 3 normally or reversely convertible in its rotation direction according to the polarity of a connected power source 1, a current sensing means 4 for sensing the input current value of the motor, a controlling circuit 5 for controlling the motor 3 are provided, and a drive direction deciding circuit 8 for deciding the normal or reverse rotation direction of the motor and a discrimination circuit 10 for outputting a signal for reversing the rotation direction of the motor to the circuit 8 when the sensed output level of the means 4 becomes a predetermined level or more are provided in the controlling circuit 5. Thus, a cooking device can be easily used by smoothly rotating the motor. |
