PURPOSE:To facilitate the fixing or removal of an electrical box for an air conditioner by a method wherein a fixing piece for the electrical box is abutted against a sliding piece of a fixing fitting and a sliding holding part of the sliding piece is fitted into and temporarily held in a holding and sliding hole of the fixing fitting. CONSTITUTION:Fixing pieces 8a and 8b of an electrical box 7 are abutted against sliding pieces 15a and 15b of Z-shaped fixing fittings 12a and 12b fixed to a side plate of a main body. While sliding and holding parts 16a and 16b of the sliding pieces 15a and 15b are being fitted to holding and sliding holes 11a and 11b of the fixing pieces 8a and 8b, they are inserted into the clearance between steps 18a and 18b between holding pieces 17a and 17b, and if required, they are temporarily held there. Then, the fixing pieces 8a and 8b are fitted with the holding pieces 17a and 17b while being pressed, and fixing screws are fastened to threaded holes 21a and 21b of the sliding and holding parts 16a and 16b through washers at a lower part thereof and fixed there. In this way, it is possible to facilitate a fixing or a removal of the electrical box, prevent the electrical box from coming off during the maintenance work and to improve the efficiency of work. |
