A headrest for a vehicle passenger is presented. Such a headrest is primarily characterized by the combination of a first and a second stand part 1,2 and a clamp member 5. The first stand part 1 is fixed at least in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and the second stand part 2 is movable in a controlled manner relative to the first stand part 1 along a circular curved path 3 with centre essentially coincident with an imaginary axis through the auditory canals of the vehicle passenger. The clamp member 5 at least partially embraces the head and is rotatable in a controlled manner relative to the second stand part about an essentially vertical axis 6 corresponding to the cervical spine belonging to the head. <IMAGE> |
