PURPOSE:To make an effect follow up the variation in tempo even when music is varied in tempo by automatically controlling a reverberation time, repeated percussion intervals, etc., while matching with the tempo of the music. CONSTITUTION:A tempo clock generation part 3 outputs a tempo clock to a control part 4 according to tempo designation data. The control part 4 reads the data out in automatic performance/automatic accompaniment mode according to the tempo clock and a musical sound generation part 6 generates a musical sound signal according to those data and performance data. The control part 4 outputs effect parameters to an effect imparting part 7 according to the tempo clock. Thus, the effect imparting part 7 imparts acoustic effect base on the tempo clock, so the effect of reverberation, percussion sound, etc., can be made to follow up the tempo. |
