PURPOSE:To easily execute the interconnection between a conventionally used electric mail system and other electronic mail system using a method different from that of the former. CONSTITUTION:An electronic mail converter 2 is provided with a conventional mail receiving mechanism 21, a conversion mechanism 22 into MOTIS/MOS, a MOTIS/MHS mail transmission mechanism 23 of OSI, a MOTIS/MHS mail receiving mechanism 24 of the OSI, a conversion mechanism 25 into the conventional mail, a conventional mail transmission mechanism 26, an address conversion mechanism 27 and a format conversion mechanism 28. The converter 2 is connected to a conventionally used electric main system 1 and an MOTIS/ MHS electronic mail system 3 of the OSI, and convert the mail between those two electronic mail systems. |
