PURPOSE: To provide a substantially straight tubular article made of a composite material or particularly a method for manufacturing ski stick, an apparatus for executing the method, and the article manufactured by the method. CONSTITUTION: A cast molding operation is conducted by (i) arranging a thin tubular sack 9 having an elasticity around a hard mandrel 10, (ii) then covering the mandrel with a composite structure 12 made of fibers impregnated with resin, (iii) arranging the mandrel 10 in the cast 13, and (iv) applying an internal pressure generated by introducing a flow into the sack 9 to clamp the composite structure to the engraved part 14 of the cast 13. |
