PURPOSE:To prevent that the air bubble flowing in the reservoir part of a head from an ink cartridge flows in a pressure chamber by discharging the air bubble to the outside of the head by an air bubble discharge mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The air bubble B1 flowing in a flow passage reaches the vicinity of a first air bubble discharge hole 11 to be naturally discharged to the outside of a head or stagnated in the periphery of the first air bubble discharge hole 11. The other air bubble B2 reaches a second air bubble discharge hole 12 to be naturally discharged to the outside of the head or stagnated in the periphery of the second air bubble discharge hole 12 and, thereafter, the above- mentioned air bubbles are discharged to the outside of the head by air bubble sucking operation. Further, by providing fins 10 at every inlet of a supply passage 2 as shown by Fig 3, an air bubble B3 is prevented from flowing in the supply passage 2 and moved toward the second air bubble discharge hole 12. |
