<p>PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing method of a color solid image pick-up device for directly forming an excellent color resolving mosaic-shaped color filter which can eliminate the color mixture of a filter for an adjacent picture element and cope with the reduction of the dimension of the picture element on a substrate having a formed solid image pick-up element. CONSTITUTION:A color solid image pick-up device is composed of a process for forming a thin layer made of material such as gelatin, casein, glue or polyvinyl alcohol on a substrate 1 having a formed solid image pick-up element, a process for dyeing the thin layer with dyestuffs to absorb ultraviolet rays containing (g), (h) or (i) rays to form an ultraviolet ray absorbing layer 8, and a process for forming a dyeing base layer 4 for a color filter on the layer 8 and dyeing it to form the color filter.</p> |
