PURPOSE:To achieve high accuracy in controlling of heating temperature of detecting part with a heater means in a heating type oxygen sensor provided with the heater means for heating the detecting part. CONSTITUTION:A heater voltage which is supplied to a heater means is controlled based on the control signal obtained from the measured signal based on the electric resistance value of the heater means. At this time, when the measured signal value or a control signal value is changed owing to the temperature change of a gas to be measured beforehand, the change in error quantity contained in the measured signal value or the control signal value is actually measured. Thus, the expression of relation between the measured signal value or the control signal value and the error quantity is obtained. The correction corresponding to the error quantity is added to the control-system signal of the heater voltage in correspondence with the measured signal value or the control signal value based on the expression of relation. |
