The synchronization protecting circuit of pulse code modulation (PCM) comprising; a frame counter (10), a forward synchronization protecting circuit (20) for protecting the synchronization when the consecutive synchronizing error or synchronization is deviated by shifting according to the synchronizing signal of detecting terminal (21), a backward synchronization protecting circuit (30) when a similar synchronizing signal included in voice data is generated, a frame counter clear signal generator generating the clear signal of flame counter element (10) according to the output of the forward and backward synchronization protecting circuit, is used at PCM voice decording system, specially satellite broadcasting.
