PURPOSE: To make mechanical characteristics and thermal characteristics superior by providing a fixing roller which contains a specific hollow cylinder having a relative thin wall part. CONSTITUTION: A fixation station 24 is equipped with a heat fixing roller 45 and a backup roller 47, and the fixing roller 45 consists of a cylinder 48 which is fitted onto a couple of terminal caps 49. Then the cylinder is a conductive member which is formed of a resin composition reinforced with a conductive filler of 0.5-0.05ψcm in resistivity and arranged in the relative thin wall part and consists of a heating member consisting of the conductive fiber filler functioning the mechanical properties of the hollow cylinder 48 and additives consisting of 0.25wt.% fluorocarbon as part of the resin composition forming a peeling tank on the external surface of the cylinder 48.
