The invention is of the field of land transport, and its subject is a motor cycle cell. This cell is mainly characterised in that the chassis (4), constructed from a composite material, is made up of a wall forming a casing intended to house the engine which is mounted so that it can pivot, the said wall being composed of two parts, a lower part (34), and another, upper, part (36) together forming a dihedron of approximately 100 degrees, and of two side plates (40, 42) which are interlaced at their bottom part by a box structure (44); what is more, the engine (2) is connected to the box structure (44) so that it can pivot about a horizontal axis (50) by means of two clamping plates (52, 54) articulated about this axis. <IMAGE>
