PURPOSE: To inexpensively and efficiently reduce spurious signals having known frequency characteristics from received digital signals. CONSTITUTION: The receiver includes a receiving means 4, an identification(ID) means capable of responding to a signal to be received in order to apply an ID signal in response to the incorrect sample ID included in the signal to be received and a notch frequency filtering means 18 for filtering an interference component from the signal to be received. The means 18 includes a signal processing means capable of responding at least to a part of the signal to be received, an oscillator means 26 for tracing the frequency, amplitude and phase of the interference component and a means 22 for disabling the control of an oscillator based on a control signal by an ID signal and combining an output signal from the oscillator with the received signal in order to generate a filtered output signal. The means 18 includes also an interpolator means 20 for generating a digital information sample interpolarted as a substitute in the filtered output signal from a digital information sample identified as an incorrect sample. |
